The Oracle
The 5-8-9 Trine: If Wishes were Horses, Beggars would Ride.
This is an altruistic combination which we see often in people in government and university positions.
Those with this Trine active in their life can have a certain arrogance.
This Ivory Tower syndrome annoys “mere mortals” but what is worse is the arrogant person who has achieved nothing, yet imagines that they are important and influential.
There is little Joy to be found in an Ivory Tower.

Most people’s dreams are doomed to a lesser role than what they might imagine, but with the arrogant fool, this type can spend their life telling you what “could have been” and how they have been done wrong.
If wishes were horse, beggars would ride … It’s an old saying but very apt for this lower consciousness type.
What do you need to be successful with this energy? You need to be fully grounded. When you have a sense of “earth” underneath you, your projects and concepts will start working to your advantage.
Alternatively, you make a good “Ideas Man” and will do well in conceptual roles where imagination and humanities combine. Also: Dedicate yourself to a cause. In this you can become almost evangelical. You will go all the way with your beliefs, and no one will be surprised to find you helping fight poverty in Africa, etc.
You will normally hold good intentions to all and promote noble ideals, but your own inability to recognize and deal with the negative aspects of your personal life all too often causes the great plans to flounder.
The negative aspect comes mostly from your arrogance, and simply not listening to your spouse or give your partner due recognition. The impact from this often is separation. This will shake your tree.
Relationship breakdowns are a major stress for you and often sets you adrift from your mooring. You will wonder why life has treated you so badly, but you generally bring these things on yourself.
This Trine is telling you the oddest thing. It seems to oppose the current rash of “Success” books but essentially you need develop a Negative Mental Attitude in order to succeed.
Does this sound odd? So often in life we succeed because we have doubts and reservations, which effectively force us to look more closely at a project before we get underway.
This is not an attitude that says things cannot be done, merely that things are never accomplished as easily as we might dream. Good intentions are not enough, and Murphy's Law applies ... If it can go wrong, it probably will.
And it pays to remember, Murphy was an optimist!
On the positive aspect, you will be enthusiastic and responsive to other people’s ideas, not just your own, and you make a magnificent Second in Charge. You will be more than happy to work long hours to ensure that a project succeeds.
But you generally need a tough boss who will always keep the bottom line, and the profit margin, firmly in view. If you can learn to frame budgets and stick to them, you will do well in industry.
Spiritually, you need to realize that the true overview of life is only found by dealing with all the details. Don’t sweat the small stuff, but remember that every large project is made up of many small details.
If attention to detail is held paramount you will find that great peace and prosperity will enter into your life.
This Trine is under the Law of Completion … Do what you have agreed to do. Don’t start what you won’t finish, but if you are in the midst of something you cannot complete, write down all you have done and the reason why you cannot finish the task, and resign.
You have to keep your confidence up.
The motto here is: Seize the Day.
