Are you listening to Aspirations or Whispers?
Every day, we choose from two jars at the portal of our being … the Jar of Aspiration, or the Jar of Whispers. Which will you choose?
Aspiration leads you to pursue your highest ideals and is focussed on making this day better than the one before. Listening to your whispers leads you into the shadow self, and all the doubts and fears you secretly hold.
The easiest way to deal with this is to clarify your life. The first question to ask in this regard is: What is the difference between what you WANT and what you NEED?
This Trine is saying you are now at a point where you can become more aware of the secret processes hidden in your mind. In this Trine, you will be looking at an age old human trait, called “Feeding and Seeding” which we use as a technique to gain power in a situation where we feel helpless or not in control.
Here is the nub of it. You will like having a bit of influence … Power is the lesson here, and this has both positive and negative possibilities.
The lesson will be with the use of power over others, particularly with the art of manipulation ... Especially in the art of what we term "Lying the Truth". Explaining this will take some time, so forgive the length of this interpretation.
It’s a subtle thing. A parent that wants to use their child as a weapon against the other parent will often say things in such a way that the child does not realize there is a problem, but the other parent will.
It is all to do with “Feeding and Seeding” people to believe things in the way that you want them to.
Playing the Victim Card is a classic example. EG: Someone wants to live off other people for a while, and doesn’t want to work and pay rent may say, “I would look after myself if I could, but because of the terrible pain I suffered with all that happened in my marriage … (Small tear) I am sorry but I just not strong enough.”
The impression someone picks up from these words is that the poor woman must have really suffered in the marriage, and that the former husband must be a really nasty fellow in some way. Nothing is actually said in the negative about the fellow, but it is heavily implied ‘something’ happened.
The very fact that the woman appears not to complain makes her a virtual saint, because after all, he must have been a real work of art.
So, what happens next, you meet the fellow with the seeding that has already happened to you, and your imagination looks for clues to prove what has been whispered to you. It is very subtle, and the more intelligent you are, the more susceptible you are to the whispers of this peculiar art.
It is simple… You feed people with what you want them to hear, and yet also what they LIKE to hear. People love a bit of gossip, so you feed them some, then you plant the seeds of what you want them to believe. After you have left the scene, the seeds will grow, take root and become a reality is that person’s mind.
This Trine speaks to you about an odd and secretive influence inside all people. You may find that you crave influence over others, but you generally will not realise this consciously.
Why? The hidden side of your nature, what Carl Jung calls your Shadow, whispers in your heart that you cannot love or be loved. It says you are unworthy and a failure. By resisting these whispers, it is the same as accepting the seeds. Because whether you initially accept or reject the whisper, you start looking for the problem and when you look you find.
That’s the Golden Rule. If you look for a problem you will find it.
You look, you find, you start to manifest with the imagination. Soon after this you have subliminally accepted the control whispers of your own shadow self. What is more, you will believe you came to the conclusion yourself and at that point the sense of shame and guilt you feel becomes solidified: It becomes a reality.
Now go back and re-read the technique the person used to run their former partner down. Doesn’t it sound like the same thing? It IS the same thing. This is where the Feeding and Seeding starts and from here, from its place of whispers it runs many people’s lives to their great detriment.
As a result of this ancient curse over the Human Race there are very few who can accept any form of love other than lust or usury. Many feel, however, they need power to support themselves because of a vacuum they sense within.
The vacuum is the need to be loved and the need for the true self esteem that will attract this Love, but we somehow manage to go about getting our genuine need turned into a want. We WANT love, so we go and take it where we can.
We use charm, connivance, and other shallow techniques to try and hook a fish on the lure. When we NEED love, our actions are more committed and we look to m\ensuring the other person is cared for, because we have respect for what we receive from them.
Not so complicated really.
Unfortunately, the power person is unlovable by their own actions. This will continue until it is realized that there really need be no division between power and love. Both these aspects can move together with ease as long as you identify your real NEEDS.
This is one of the High Spiritual Lessons, however, and not many survive Its challenge, let alone understand It.
You need to be aware that the role playing of the power game comes in only a few basic forms. The Passive Controller, like the example above, Feeds and Seeds people to get what they want.
The Aggressive Controller will use physical and psychic force to make people do what they want. The Loving Controller will seek to use kindness and apparent open heartedness to get people to do what they want.
There are others, but the core similarity between them all is that when challenged they will play the victim very quickly “What … ME? How could you imagine that?” And it is all to get you to do what they want.
Power can be very useful, but it must be kept balanced. This will be the major test in some way, shape or form for those affected with this Trine.
Another aspect of the power issue is the so-called "White Witch".
This "good" use of mind power is still the use of mental force to influence others. This is really a condition that stems from either a sense of superiority rather than inferiority.
The person who wishes to influence others for some imagined "good" practices white magic, and does so basically because they feel superior to the person they are helping... Whereas a person serving their own ends practices black magic, evolving from an ingrained belief that they are not good enough to achieve this by other more direct means.
Both are earning karma from their actions, karma that brings us back to this world to balance it out. If bad karma represents iron chains, good karma represents gold chains ... Both hold you in place.
You have a choice in this cycle … Continue with the subtle manipulation, or become more honest and direct.
Have you the courage to face your Shadow? Are you willing to accept that your humanity is both darkness and light?
Saint Paul said: “At first through the Glass Darkly, but then, Face to Face!” When you understand this, you have solved the riddle of this Trine.
